2 MSc. students opportunity at the Department of Plant, food and Environmental Science at Dalhousie University in Trouro, Nova Scotia

I am looking for one or two MSc students to join my research group at the Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences at Dalhousie University in Trouro, Nova Scotia. The project is to evaluate the effects of different types, rates, and application timings of enhanced efficiency nitrogen fertilizers on the agronomics (e.g., nitrogen use efficiency, grain yield, and grain quality), environmental (e.g, greenhouse gas emission and nitrate leaching), and economic parameters in cereals and oilseed crop in Atlantic Canada. 

Qualifications: 

Applicants must hold a B.Sc degree in Plant science, agronomy, or related discipline and meet admission requirements to the M.Sc. program of the Faculty of Agriculture. Interest and knowledge about soil fertility and nutrient management would be a strong asset. due to the requirement of conducting fieldwork, an applicant with a valid driver's license in Canada would be preferred. 

Starting Date: January or May 2024
